Welcome to Langcli (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Langcli platform, including our website https://langcli.com, APIs, SDKs, and any related products or services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

Overview

Langcli is an interactive AI coding assistant in the terminal It features:

Langcli is 100% compatible with Claude Code. Therefore, the way to use Langcli is exactly the same as that of standard Claude Code and your existing projects' .claude or skills are all applicable to Langcli.
Even more exciting is that Langcli is deeply integrated with LangRouter, allowing you to friendly use and switch between mainstream LLM models (including Claude OPUS 4.8, GLM 5.2, GPT 5.6 sol, Deepseek v4 pro, Deepseek v4 flash, Kimi K2.7 code, Minimax M3, Mimo 2.5 pro, etc.) within an ongoing session as needed, without interrupting your context.

Eligibility

You must:

Be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country)
Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

Accounts and Access

You must create an LangRouter account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity under your account
Ensuring information provided is accurate and up-to-date

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Plans and Billing

Langcli itself is free open-source software, with its code publicly available on GitHub Repo. Anyone can copy, modify, and use it for free.
To provide a better user experience, Langcli integrates with the LangRouter.ai platform. Apart from a few free models, most models on the LangRouter.ai platform require payment. Charges incurred from using LangRouter models are settled on the LangRouter platform. Langcli does not generate additional charges, nor does it help you track billing details. For pricing information on the various models on the LangRouter.ai platform, please see here.

If you use Langcli to connect to local models such as Ollama or vLLM, or directly connect to DeepSeek's official models, these actions will not result in billing charges on the LangRouter platform.

Data and Privacy

Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
You control how your data is stored under Settings → Policies, including whether to:

Retain All Data (request payloads and responses)
Store Metadata Only (usage statistics and pricing data)

By using the Service, you consent to data processing and transfers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for illegal or harmful activities
Interfere with the normal operation of the platform
Attempt to access unauthorized data or systems
Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
Circumvent rate limits or authentication controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaging in abuse, fraud, or policy violations.

AI Provider Usage

When using AI models through Langcli, you are also subject to the terms and policies of the respective model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Google, etc.).
Langcli acts as a coding agent — we do not control or assume responsibility for provider responses.

Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the Service (including software, design, and branding) are owned by Langcli or its licensors.

You retain ownership of your own data and prompts.
You grant us a limited license to process and analyze your data for the purpose of providing the Service.

Team and Organization Features

If you are part of an organization:

Owners can manage members, billing, and organization settings
Admins can manage projects and API keys but cannot modify owners or billing
Developers can view usage and manage projects
Restricted users have API-only access

Team management is available for all users.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms
You misuse the Service
Required by law or regulation

Upon termination, your access will cease, and stored data will be deleted according to your retention settings.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee:

That the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
The accuracy or reliability of AI model outputs
That your use will meet specific performance or compliance requirements

Use of the Service and AI outputs is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Langcli is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the preceding three (3) months

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Langcli, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from:

Your use or misuse of the Service
Your violation of these Terms or third-party rights
